P4 Safety Solutions TM Schools options
This summary outlines options for implementing into schools, with the following assumptions:
- Primary school – one main entry, 5 fire exits, 10 classrooms, 1 dining room, 1 assembly hall
- Secondary school – 5 main entry/exit, 23 fire exits, 45 classrooms, 1 dining room, 1 assembly hall
- Individual requirements can be defined following site survey
- 82% of schools are primary, 18% secondary
- Cost is indicative, excludes basic installation and VAT
Level of Intervention
Option 1 – basic safety
General entry – scan at main entry/exit points, enabling high temperature to be detected while ensuring mask usage, maintaining social distancing and tracking building occupancy level, with facial recognition
Option 2 – safety monitoring
As per basic safety, distancing and room occupancy internally
Option 3 – attendance monitoring
As per safety monitoring, plus tracking through to classrooms, with alerting for any missing
Option 4 – fire evacuation monitoring
As per attendance monitoring, plus tracking through fire exits with alerting for anyone not registered as having left the building

- Primary: 1 bullet camera entry,2 People counters, 12 Dome to match image for main entrance to the class rooms,10 People Counters for class rooms,2 People counters for dining/assembly hall
- Secondary: 5 bullet camera entry, 10 People counters, 47 Dome to match image for main entrance to the class rooms,47 People Counter for class rooms/dining/assembly hall.
